Moving To Spain ?

Moving to Spain is a simple move for Britons it is like moving to a new town down the road in the UK with a little bit of paperwork required for Customs with a few more miles on the road.
We offer an international fortnightly removal service to Spain service with fortnightly moves from Spain back to the UK, a service we have been carefully providing for over 22 years.

Our first trip in 2012 is going out on 5th January and space is limited now. Our next trip out after that is 31st January. We will resume our fortnightly trips from 15th February.

A trip to Spain will normally take three days to arrive to the populated British areas such as Alicante, Almaria and Malaga. Removals are normally collected in the few days leading up to a trip to Spain. However we can collect at any time and store your belongings either in our Derby warehouse or in one in your area of Spain. Collections in Spain can be made at any time by our colleagues in Spain or to tie in with our lorries when we are in Spain meaning the load is only move once.

We have over the years Joined well established contacts, with excellent business friendships and many many satisfied customers who have allowed us to lighten their load a little by trusting us on their new journey. With three different size trucks in our fleet from our 3.5 tonne  luton van for the small load to the 27 tonne road train for the larger heavy load we have the space to accommodate all your removal needs.

Furniture will also need to be labeled and listed this will prevent any loss if you are a part load removal.

Returning back from Spain to the UK is a door to door service we can collect at an agreed time and date and will get your furniture back to the Uk with in an agreed time this is normally with in four days from collection.

If you do not have a place to go into in Spain or the UK we can store your belongings until you have one, either in the UK of in Spain, you can make the choice of your storage depots.

Earth quake in Lorca Murcia

An Earth quake has hit the town of Lorca in the Murcia area of Spain on wednesday 11 May 2011.
The damage to building and the loss of 10 lives is devastating to the area.

Many Britons live with in 60 miles of the town of Lorca and the tremors were felt as far as Granada, Almaria, Valencia & Madrid
We had one of our lorries only 20 miles from Lorca unloading at the time.
Our Driver said he felt the Earth move and the rumble was load like a lorry coming down a mountain.

Spain has many Earth quakes mainly in the south of Spain, In Almaria to Cadiz most are only small and are only just noticeable
In Almaria and Malaga there are as many as two Earth quakes a day.


Our customers often ask the best way to travel by car.
Our Trucks Mainly travel by Ferry from Portsmouth to Santander or Bilbao. If you are transporting pets then this is the best way for you.
If you travel through France we recommend you travel down the west cost towards Bourdeaux A10 and cross the border at Irun.
For Valencia and above head towards Pamplona A15 then to Zaragoza A15 (toll road) follow for Teruel A23 and on to Valencia trip time from border approx 7 hours by car .
For Alicante area head to Bilbao A8 (toll road) then to Burgos A68 (toll road) follow for Madrid A1. When approaching Madrid junction 21 turn off for M50 look for Valencia sign
you can use the RM3 (toll road) or the A3 to Valencia. Follow to Albacete and on to Alicante. Trip time approx 9 hours by car.
For Murcia and Almaria Follow the above Alicante Route but at Albacete follow sign for Murcia Trip time from the border 9 hours by car.
For Almaria just follow sign from Murcia Trip time 2 hours From Murcia.
For Malaga follow above route to Madrid M50 Stay on M50 till you reach the A4 sign for Cordoba take A4 till you get to Bailen At Bailen you need to follow on to Granada A44 From Granada towards Malaga A92 Trip time from border approx 11 hours by car.
